Guatemala | International Forum Highlights Rural Education and the Dual System

The Ministry of Education, the CRIIA Institute and UNESCO organized an international forum dedicated to reflecting on rural education. The main goals of the initiative were: to present the Interinstitutional Technical Committee, led by the Ministry of Education; to showcase the impact of the Family Farm Schools (CEFFA) and the relevance of the dual system, based on studies conducted in Guatemala and other countries; and to promote the exchange of experiences on the challenges of rural education, with special attention to the Guatemalan context.

During the event, the Impact Study on the CEFFA was presented, covering 13 countries. The study was supported by the Fondation Ondjyla from the beginning through to the official publication launch, which took place on March 12, 2025. The book is available in the Digital Grow platform library.
