PHILIPPINES | Training Session at Family Farm Schools (FFS)

The CRIIA Institute has a deep relationship with the Agricultural Family Schools (EFA), which began in 1988 with the support of the Agricultural Family Schools of Spain (UNEFA) and DISOP-SIMFR (Belgium). As part of this, we visited PARFED (Philippines Association of Rural Families for Education) and the rural family schools Yason and Dagatan and (the latter two are part of PPAFI, Pampamilyang Paaralang Agrikultura Foundation Incorporated), and held training sessions for teachers and families.
This meeting also led to a commitment to sign an agreement between Caritas, PARFED and CRIIA to support local rural family schools.

Finally, during the mission, the "CEFFA Impact Study" was activated in the Philippines, enabling that its results be included in Asia region Final Report. This study, which is being conducted in 15 countries in 4 continents, and scheduled to be completed in 2024, is under the scientific direction of the University of Sherbrooke (Canada).
