ANGOLA - Dombe Grande | Programme "The Better Rice"

The Better Rice Programme field day was held on 26 January, coordinated by the Federal University of Lavras in partnership with FONDATION ONDJYLA, Jardins da Yoba and SEIVA.

The trial rice field is at the Nelson Rodrigues farm in Dombe-Grande, Angola. In the year that celebrates the National Rice Cultivation,  a day was dedicated to growing upland rice, where 20 new genotypes were tested, with the aim of assessing the agronomic potential of rice in the area, and its production in the context of family farming.
